Yes. Light Joints Physiotherapy is recognized by most major UK health insurance providers (including AXA and Aviva). When booking for our Leeds or Bradford clinics, please provide your authorization code. We recommend checking your policy for "Physiotherapy" or "Diagnostic Imaging" coverage prior to your visit.
We offer easy access for patients across Leeds & Bradford
Colton Clinic (Leeds): Free on-site parking is available directly at our Bullerthorpe Lane site, ideal for patients traveling from Cross Gates or Whitkirk.
Rothwell Clinic (Leeds): Dedicated parking is accessible near our Commercial Street clinic for those coming from Woodlesford or Oulton.
Greengates Clinic (Bradford): Ample patient parking is available at our New Line facility, serving the Apperley Bridge and Idle communities.
Certainly! You are welcome to bring a family member or friend for support during your physiotherapy session. They can wait in our comfortable waiting area while you receive treatment.
Accessibility varies by location, so please choose the site best suited to your mobility:
Colton & Kirkstall: Fully accessible with standard wheelchair access.
Rothwell: Wheelchair access is available via our fire escape entrance. Please call the clinic ahead of your arrival so a member of the team can assist you and open this entrance.
Bradford (Greengates): Please note this clinic is located on the 3rd floor and does not have wheelchair access.
We require at least 48 hours' notice for any changes or cancellations. To maintain clinical availability for the Leeds and Bradford community, prepayments are non-refundable if a cancellation or change is requested within the 48-hour window.
We operate a secure, cashless payment system at all sites. We accept all major debit/credit cards and mobile payments (Apple/Google Pay) following your clinical consultation.
The majority of our patients are self-referrals. You do not need a GP to access our Physiotherapy or MSK Ultrasound services. We offer transparent, fixed-pricing for self-funding patients across all West Yorkshire branches.
For your comfort and ease of movement during the assessment and treatment, we recommend wearing loose, comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the affected area.
Please bring a pair of shorts if the problem is related to your leg or lower back. For ladies we recommend you wear a vest top or sports bra if your complaint relates to your upper body, shoulder or neck.
