Light Joints Physiotherapy was founded with a clear goal: to make expert care for pain and injury more accessible, personalised and straightforward.

We believe patients deserve more than a quick appointment. They deserve time to understand their symptoms, honest advice and a clear plan for recovery.

Today, our clinics in Colton, Rothwell and Greengates bring together physiotherapy, MSK ultrasound (POCUS), corticosteroid injections, sports massage and rehabilitation.

Our approach remains assessment-led and rehabilitation-focused, helping patients access the right care without unnecessary treatment or delays.

Had treatment from Emily and Amie for serious back and knee pain for months while training in the gym with real day to day life impacts , didn’t know how was going to resolve.  Lovely girl, easy to talk to she understood the issue immediately, extremely knowledgable, isolated the pain straight away , found the cause of the issues  (there were a few!) and made immediate impact. I had one session with Daniel Thompson and he diagnosed my issue and gave me excercises to do to resolve the root cause. Within two weeks my back pain had fully gone and I feel back to my normal self. Would recommend to anyone it was well worth it and Daniel is friendly and very knowledgable.
