I’ve just wrapped up my knee rehab with Daniel and wanted to say thanks. He’s easy to talk to, super professional, and really knows his stuff. He explained the plan and timelines in a way that made sense, without overcomplicating things. And we finished at the lower end of the timeframe he set, which felt pretty great. Appreciate his help, his straight talk, and the way he made the whole process feel manageablePosted on Google![]()

This was my fist sports massage and I was very nervous about if it was going to hurt. I had just completed a marathon so my legs were quite sore. Emily was very knowledgeable and spoke about every single muscle she was massaging and how what she was doing would help. No pain what so ever and my legs felt amazing after I will definitely be going back but next time for a 60 minute!!Posted on Google![]()

Been seeing Cameron who has helped me get back to running pain free. I put off physio for too long thinking I could fix it myself. The Jetts staff were always very welcoming as well.Posted on Google![]()

First class service. Ultrasound was carried out to determine if there was any further damage to my knee joint other than the diagnosed torn meniscus flare up. Transpires I now have osteoarthritis too so I recieved a steroid injection in my knee which was painless and quick and has eased my pain immensely. All my queries were answered clearly and concisely and good advice given with regards to the correct exercise to do to strengthen my leg muscles and slow down further deterioration.Posted on Google![]()

I recently suffered a shoulder injury and visited the Greengates branch for an in depth assessment of injury using Ultrasound. Daniel, the physiotherapist was very helpful and knowledgeable and promptly got to the source of the problem. We worked on some light physio/exercises and I left having booked a follow up phsiotherapy session. I then managed to obtain expediated access to an NHS phsiotherapist so proceeded to cancel my pre-paid session with Daniel and my payment was refunded to me within an hour of cancellation. I cannot recommend Light Joints Physiotherapy highly enough. Very professional and obviously, extensively experienced. Price for Ultrasound is very competitive and almost too cheap as the next best price in the region is at least double the cost. A very easy 5 stars..Posted on Google![]()

FAQ’s
Have questions about our services? Check our FAQ section for answers to common queries.
No, you do not usually need a GP referral to book a private knee assessment. We can assess your symptoms and determine whether a steroid injection is appropriate for you.
The cost of a knee steroid injection depends on the assessment and treatment provided. Please see our current pricing or contact us for details.
If appropriate, it may be possible to have the injection during the same appointment. Your clinician will first assess your knee and discuss whether an injection is suitable.
Steroid injections may help with certain causes of knee pain, particularly where inflammation is contributing to your symptoms. They may be considered for conditions such as knee osteoarthritis, bursitis and some meniscal or patellofemoral pain.
Â
No. A steroid injection does not usually cure the underlying cause of knee pain. It may reduce pain and inflammation, helping you move more comfortably and take part in rehabilitation or other treatment.
You may feel a brief sting or pressure during the injection. Most people tolerate the procedure well, and your clinician will explain what to expect before treatment.
Some people notice an improvement within a few days, although it can take longer. Your clinician will explain what to expect based on your individual symptoms and treatment.
The duration of pain relief varies from person to person and depends on the underlying condition. Some people experience relief for several weeks or longer, while others may have less benefit.
Possibly, but this needs to be discussed with your clinician. Steroid injections can temporarily affect blood glucose levels, so appropriate precautions may be needed.
It depends on the medication you take and your individual circumstances. Tell your clinician about any medicines you are taking so they can assess whether an injection is appropriate.
Â
That's okay. Your clinician will explain why an injection may not be appropriate and discuss other suitable treatment options based on your symptoms and assessment.
